Cam' ron thinking of signing Olivia
After being released from her contract with G Unit Records it looks like Harlem rapper Cam'ron is looking to sign the R&B singer to his Diplomat imprint. Cam'ron born Cameron Giles has been publicly feuding with rapper 50 Cent over the past few months after he called in to speak to 50 while he was being interviewed on a New York Radio Station. The reasoning for him possibly signing Olivia has been linked to the ongoing feud between G Unit and The Diplomats of which Cam'ron is one of the founding members. Olivia was originally signed to J Records before signing to G Unit and her self titled album released under the watchful eye of Clive Davis failed to make an impact and resulted in the Brooklyn born singer being dropped from the label. Her projects on G Unit were never released.
Kanye West wedding on hold
Chicago rapper/producer Kanye West and his fiance Alexis Rainey have suddenly put a hold on their plans to marry according to a friend of Ms. Rainey. The wedding which was supposed to take place later this year would be the first for both West and Rainey.

There have been numerous reports linking Kanye West to other females including former Bay Watch star Pamela Anderson since he announced his engagement last year.

Pamela Anderson featured in the rappers video for Touch the Sky featuring Lupe Fiasco.

Trouble in Texas
A lawsuit against Rap-a-Lot records CEO J Prince have caused the label boss, responsible for careers of some of Texas's major players on the Hip-Hop scene including UGK, Geto Boys including Scarface and Trae, to speak out against Ronnie Bookman who filed the suit against him yesterday.

Bookman, owner of the 7303 record label and recording studio in Houston, is suing Prince for breach of contract, battery, unfair competition, duress, conspiracy and unjust enrichment stemming from issues concerning a track featuring Bun B from Rap-a-Lot.

Both men met at a gym belonging to J Prince and what was supposed to be a friendly exchange of contracts resulted in Bookman being allegedly beaten by a gang of men who broke his nose and caused extensive injuries to his head and eyes which have since resulted in surgery.

J Prince has released this statement in regards to the lawsuit. "Through my years in this music industry, I've been falsely accused and sued by many, which none of them were successful. I guess this is a new season where drug dealing rats and parasite lawyers are out to extort me.

If anyone with good sense would pull this guy Ronnie Bookman's record, they would see how bad his credibility stinks. The true facts will be revealed in a court of law."

Snoop gets Community Service
Rapper Snoop Dog who has been in the midst of a lot of negative press lately pleaded no contest to charges of drug and gun possession brought against him after an incident at Bob Hope Airport in LA last October.

The rapper is set to release his Big Squeeze compilation album on April 24th through Koch records which features names like Kurupt, Kat Williams and Westurn Union.

Nelly to star in Bowling Flick
