Remy Ma turns herself in
Bronx rapper Remy Ma turned herself in to local authorities in Manhattan yesterday after a shooting in Manhattan which left one woman hospitalized. Remy Ma is said to have fired two shots at her long time friend Makeda Barnes- Joseph as she sat in her car.An argument started between Ma and Barnes-Joseph after leaving The Pizza Bar in Manhattans trendy meat packing district. After firing the two shots, Remy Ma is said to have fled the scene in her SUV but only blocks away was involved in a crash with another vehicle. The rapper abandoned her Cadillac Escalade and fled on foot with several men who have also been questioned.Remy Ma turned herself into the NYPD with her lawyer Scott Leemon and she was officially charged been charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
50 Cent pushed back
Rapper 50 Cent has had his third studio album pushed back another week. The album which was actually scheduled to be released in late May is now expected to drop on September 11th. Having just released the video for his current track I Get Money which has been welcomed by fans, 50 Cent will be headlining Medfest in Cyprus on July 28th.
Janet moves to JDs side
Janet Jackson has officially left Virgin records and is now housed at the same label where her boyfriend of four years Jermain Dupri is President of the Urban division. Island Def Jam where the couple are doing business is also home to Mariah Carey, who will be working closely with Dupri on her next album.

Snoop's Life hits TV
Notorious rapper Snoop Dog is yet another music personality to get caught up in reality TV. Snoop, born Calvin Broadus Jr. is allowing viewers of the E Entertainment channel an insight to just what his life is about in the up and coming show.

As a husband and father to three children, Snoop Dog is heavily involved in community work and is heavily involved in a youth football league.

The audience will see the man who has garnered a serious amount of negative press in the last year in everyday situations as both recording artist and as a parent.
