Good Year for Steve Rifkind
For the man famed for understanding and making a living from grassroots promotion, 2007 is looking like a good year for Steve rifkind. The founder of the Loud and SRC record labels which are home to artists like Wu Tang Clan and Akon has just jumped on the net launching his Loud.com site and involving himself with battlerap.com, a site which allows producers to battle with other producers from all over the world, with the possibility of winning a record deal with the SRC label.
Other names involved in Rapbattle.com are DJ Khaled and producer duo, Cool and Dre who have become a duo to be reckoned with when it comes to producing Hip-Hop and R&B.

It was earlier announced this year that the famed group Wu Tang Clan are working on an album which will be released through SRC. Talking with Steve Rifkind late last year he said he was adamant that he would be getting back the Loud name, which he became famed for.

The Wu album is slated to hit shelves sometime in Summer and is titled 8 Diagrams with production on the album coming from famed Wu founder The RZA. Made up of Ghostface Killah, Method Man, U-God, Master Killa, RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard, this will be the groups fifth studio album.
