Lil Wayne Sets Date

It was inevitable that Lil Wayne would choose to experiment after the success he had in 2008. The rapper who hinted at a rock album late last year will indeed be releasing such an album this year.

Lil Wayne is set to perform at a Pre-Grammy special hosted by TV news reader Katie Couric in the build up for the 51st Grammy Awards in February it was announced late last week. Wayne will perform alongside Kanye West and John Legend

The CEO of the company Lara Lavi said that she hoped her companies purchase of the once iconic would restore consumers faith in what the label once represented and the sounds it created through artists such as Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

Lavi was once part of a group herself and has extensive music industry experience as both manager and performer.
