In today's Daily Rap we see Rihanna take a tumble, Usher turns to Ne-Yo, a warrant is issued for Mos Def and the prime suspect in the Hudson murders could walk free today.
Rihanna takes a tumble
Super cool R&B diva Rihanna took a bit of a tumble the other night while performing on her world tour in Australia.
The Disturbia singer rushed off stage while performing her hit Umbrella where paramedics were waiting for her. The reason for the glitch in the performance at Acer Arena in Sydney was down to problems with the venues air conditioning.
The show went out with Rihannaâs boyfriend, Chris Brown taking control of the reins. Rihanna is continuing her tour down under and is well and healthy according to her team.
Usher turns to Ne-Yo again
There have been various reports as to how Neyoâs influence on R&B singer Usher was extremely obvious as he started his intimate tour of the US for the ladies only, due to the similar choreography involved in the show.
But now it looks like Usher will be using the help of Ne-Yo a little bit more as he prepares to drop another album in early 2009.
Here I Stand the performers follow up to his multi million selling Confessions failed to sell like he had hoped but Usher has put this down to being in too many places at one time and not focusing on the music as he should.
The next project is expected to see Usher return to the same method he used to make Confessions which was released in 2004 and featured numerous chart topping hits.
It is expected that pal Ne-Yo will be extremely involved in making this album as memorable as the 2004 classic.
Warrants for Mos Def issued
Conscious Brooklyn rapper Mos Def who has excelled as an actor as of late is in a little hot water after an incident at the MAGIC trade fair in August where he had a scuffle with a photographer.
There were two warrants issued last week stemming from this altercation for the arrest of Mos on charges of felony robbery and destruction of private property.
However the alleged camera which Mos was to have stolen was returned to photographer Volker Corell before authorities even arrived at the scene back on August 26th.
It is expected that Mos who is set to star along side Beyonce in Cadillac Records, the life story of Etta James will turn himself in to the Clark County DA in Las Vegas.
Hudson suspect could go free today
There is a chance that William Balfour, the prime suspect in the Hudson Family Murders might go free today if the parole board find no probable cause in keeping him behind bars.
Balfour, the estranged husband of Julia Hudson who lost her mother, brother and son in the horrific slaying two weeks ago is only being held for parole violation and has not been charged with murder.
The Chicago PD is building its case in regards to the murders but there is not enough evidence to charge Balfour yet with them yet.
However he has violated the terms of his parole on various occasions and it is these violations, such as missed anger management classes and cocaine possession that have kept him behind bars.
