Kanye to work with Boy George
Not exactly a match made in heaven, but it has been suggested that former 80âs icon Boy George will be working along side Kanye West on the rappers up and coming album 808âs and Heartbreak which is expected to hit shelves in December.
The two will be working on a track which will feature on Kanyeâs fourth album.
Boy George, lead singer of the cult group Culture Club has been caught up in various legal controversy since he was accused of kidnapping a model in his East London home and numerous charges from drugs over the last few years.
Jay Z and Coldplay unite again
Looks like Chris Martin, Coldplayâs front man is calling on his friend Jay Z to assist with a remix of one of the super groups album tracks.
Lost, which features on the multi platinum selling Viva La Vida will be remixed with the addition of Marcy Projects prodigal son, Jay Z. The duo first worked together when Martin produced and appeared on Jay Zâs Kingdom Come album on the track Beach Chair which was released in 2006.
"In the spirit of trying to do things a bit differently and keep everything fresh, we are going to do a few musical moves that we have not previously attempted. Firstly, in a few weeks we are going to release a version of 'Lost!' which has a guest appearance on it in the form of Jay-Z," read the message from the band on their website.
Janet Jackson cancels more shows
Janet Jackson has cancelled more shows over the weekend due to an unspecified illness.
The singer who was taken ill and rushed to hospital last week in Montreal, Canada has now had to postpone five shows, although promoters are asking fans to hold onto tickets with the hopes of rescheduling them at a later date.
This is the singers first American tour in seven years.
Tupac produce commits suicide
One of the most respected producers during the nineties who worked extensively with slain rapper Tupac on albums such as All Eyez on Me and Me Against the World committed suicide in a Los Angeles jail on Friday.
The producer was in jail on a DUI charge and allegedly jumped off a tier in the jail.
Johnny J, born Johnny Jackson leaves behind him a wife and two children.
