In today's Daily Rap we feel for Dr Dre whose son died at the weekend, whilst the LAPD pull a gun on Diddy. More violence erupted elsewhere as Young Berg was attacked in Detroit and Swizz Beats owes the IRS millions in unpaid taxes.
Dr. Dreâs Son dead
The twenty year old son of legendary producer and Aftermath boss Dr. Dre was announced dead on arrival at an LA hospital on Saturday it was disclosed yesterday.
Andre Young Junior was said to have returned home in the early hours of Saturday morning and when his mother went to check on him at around 10 am she found him unresponsive and he was rushed to a close by hospital.
No cause of death has been determined yet but toxicology reports were carried out and results are expected at some point this week.
LAPD pull gun on Diddy
Sean Cobs was subjected to a gun being drawn on him and his entourage in Los Angeles this past weekend. LAPD stopped a car being driven by one of Diddyâs friends for being tagged incorrectly.
When Combs and gang saw their associate being pulled over they exited the vehicle they were driving and went to see what was going on. One of the officers pulled a gun on Combs and friends when they approached the vehicle.
Once Combs made the LAPD aware who he was the situation was defused and all parties went on their way.
The LAPD have long been at the center of the ongoing murder enquiry into the murder of Sean Combs close friend The Notorious BIG who was murdered in LA in 1997.
Young Berg attacked in Detroit
Rapper Young Berg was beaten in Detroit this past weekend and had his diamond chain snatched by an the assailant.
Pictures have since circulated of the chain around the neck of the alleged attacker on the internet.
The attack took place in a Detroit nightclub which is co-owned by Detroit rapper Trick Trick. Trick Trick and his camp have made no comment about the attack, but it has been insinuated that Young Berg was attacked because of comments he had made about rappers from the city on a previous visit there.
The Chicago rapper failed to make scheduled appearances after the attack. This is the second time this month that the twenty four year old rapper has been in trouble. He was arrested earlier this month in New York after fighting with his limo driver.
