In Monday's Daily Rap Wu Tang album leaked onto the internet, Snoop Dogg award, Akon charged, Kanye West to marry before the end of the year. Album LeaksOnly weeks before their albums drop, New York's Wu Tang Clan and Philadelphia's Beanie Sigel have found themselves prey to the dreaded internet leak. Albums leaking at this point are not necessarily harmful to sales but it obviously hinders any anticipation people may have had for the projects if they have access to it online.The Wu Tang Album has sparked considerable controversy, being pushed back numerous times and with main player Ghostface and Raekwon speaking out against the project citing producer RZA taking it to extremes not parallel with the Wu signature sound on the production side. Sponsors of the event and the league which boasts over 60 teams for both boys and girls age 7-13 are Cutter Gloves who presented along with Snoop four lap tops to players who have excelled both on the field and in the class room and gift bags for runners up.
In a statement Snoop said "We couldn't do this without people like [Cutters] who believe in the Snoop Youth Football League," Snoop Dogg. "It's easy for a kid to join a gang -- we need to make it easier to play football. The SYFL is on to something so fresh and productive for our youth, and we are also all about helping the boys and girls off the field."
Akon charged for throwing fan
R&B sensation Akon has been charged stemming from a concert back in June of this year. Akon is scheduled to appear in court on this morning (December 3) to be arraigned on a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, and second-degree harassment.
Akon threw a fan from the stage at the concert after being hit by an object thrown by the fan. This event happened only weeks after he became headline news for stimulating sex with the 14 year old daughter of a preacher while on stage in Trinidad.
Kanye West to marry before year end
It has been reported that rapper Kanye West will wed his fiance Alexia Phifer before the year ends. The young lady had a firm fan in the late Mother of Kanye West, Dr. Donda West who died recently due to complications stemming from cosmetic surgery.
Kanye West knows his mother was adamant in seeing her son settle down and since her untimely death it appears that the time to make Phifer his wife is coming sooner than many anticipated. Kanye is currently on a world tour promoting his already twice platinum Graduation project.
