The vehicle in which Dupri was driving, a Cadillac Escalade was a complete write off.This comes just as Dupri is about to open his new nightclub in Atlanta, Studio 72.
Marly Marl suffers heart attack
The man who has literally molded Hip-Hop and created beats for the best of the best, Marly Marl suffered a heart attack on Wednesday. The New York born and based producer born Marlon Williams is said to be a stable condition.The producer has just joined forces with associate KRS-One on a project called 'Hip-Hop is not Dead' which is to explain a few things about the music to the younger generations.
Akon may face charges
The Senegalese singer may face charges stemming from his recent 'body slamming' encounter at a concert last weekend. Now the minor who was thrown into the crowd by the multi-platinum rapper has come forward it appears his family may press charges against him.

The lady who the boy landed on is also seeking an apology from Akon. Abby Rosa had to seek hospital treatment after the incident and was diagnosed with concussion.

The singers lawyer, Benjamin Brafman released this statement yesterday "Given the information that we have reviewed to date, it does not appear to us that Akon was involved in any criminal conduct whatsoever. We are prepared to fully cooperate with any law enforcement agency that may be investigating this incident.

We are confident that after a thorough investigation it will be apparent that no criminal prosecution of Akon is warranted."

Andre 3000 of famed duo Outkast is set to play the famed Rat Pack member in a movie based around the musicians relationship with actress Kim Novak, aptly titles Sammy and Kim.
