In your Monday Rap sheet why is Curtis Jackson laughing all the way t the bank, Henchman and Yayo face off as Mims in even more trouble, finally Nick Cannon in Cannes... Who?
All the way to the bank
You either love him or hate him, but one thing you can't deny about Curtis Jackson is the mans business acumen. Whether the decisions are made by one of his team or the rapper himself, he makes money...lots of it.His latest venture Glaceau Water which makes the popular vitamin water was bought by the Coca Cola Company last week for a whopping $4.1 billion. 50 Cent owns 10% of the water company and is the innovative mind behind the Formula 50 which is a grape flavored water. "Glacéau and its brands also provide us with highly attractive longer-term international opportunities. We look forward to discussing with glacéau's distributors and our bottling partners the best operating model for glacéau's routes-to-market," said Muhtar Kent, president and COO of The Coca-Cola Company.Henchman v Yayo update
Another man has been named in the altercation between the 14 year old son of Jimmy Rosemond and Tony Yayo in Manhattan in March of this year.Lawlell Fletcher, an associate of Tony Yayo who was said to be driving with Tony Yayo when they saw the 14 year old has been charged for his so called involvement in the crime. The 29 year old Fletcher is said to have flashed a gun at the boy who was discriminated against for wearing a Czar entertainment t-shirt.
The boy was spotted by Yayo on a Manhattan street while he was on his way to work as an intern for his Father.
Mims already in hot water?
He might be hot, but I doubt Mims has the bank balance just yet to clear a civil case that has been brought against him.A suit for $7.5 million dollars was filed in a New York State civil court by a 22 year old woman who says he failed to show up at an event organized by her "because of his misogynistic views towards women, which are a "pattern of conduct involving the belittlement and degradation of females as 'b***hes and hoe's."
The lady had paid a $2,500 advance to the rappers management. Many rappers have come under fire over the last couple of months becasue of their lyrical content. Mims's representatives were unable to comment.
