Tupac’s Mother Named in Lawsuit
Afeni Shakur, the mother of slain rapper Tupac Shakur, has been named in a lawsuit brought against her by a Hollywood Production company who claim she signed a contract with them to work on a biopic movie about the rapper.
Famed production house Morgan Creek, known for movies such as Ace Ventura Pet Detective imply in the suit that Ms. Shakur who controls her late sons estate has baked out of a contract which would have seen the company produce a movie about the life and death of the rapper.
Legal reps for the Shakur estate have gone on the record and said that they will in fact be suing Morgan Creek for damaging the possibility of any other Hollywood heavy weight coming on board to re-create the life of Tupac due to this fabricated story of a deal which never existed. No comment was made by Morgan Creek in regards to the allegations.
