Blueprint 3
The excitement surrounding Jay Z and his last album to be released on Def Jam has reached further highs this week as the rapper talked about his Blueprint 3 project while celebrating the new President.
The album which is allegedly solely produced by Kanye West has yet to be given a release date but the Brooklyn rapper said to MTV I'm gonna take my time with it. I don't have any quotas, and that's a good thing. It may be too freeing. It's a good thing and a bad thing.
âYou know, I think I need some restrictions. 'Cause if I had restrictions, I would have done it in three weeks. I would have made what I believe to be a great piece of art."
An estimated $30 million budget has been granted to the former President of Def Jam in making this record. Jay Z has been featured on the Notorious soundtrack and on a recent remix for Young Jeezyâs My President, allowing fans just a little taster to satiate their hunger for Blueprint 3.
David Banner heading to Persian Gulf
Activist and rapper David Banner is jumping on board with the United Service Organization to head out to the Persian Gulf to entertain the American troops who are currently stationed out there.
Banner was asked to embark on a tour by the USO, an organization which provides the Armed forces with recreational services, and showed no hesitation being involved.
In a recent press release the Mississippi rapper, who has in the past through his activism testified in front of congress in regards to African American Stereotypes, had this to say âThereâs nothing I enjoy more than giving back and expressing my thanks to those serving our nation, I am honored to travel with the USO and feel privileged to do what I do everyday.
âRegardless of your political affiliation or viewpoint on the war, our soldiers work hard and have paved the way to where we are today.â
New Movie company for 50
He has tackled all aspects of the entertainment world so far, he has sang, rapped, wrote, acted and designed his way to stardom but there is never any slowing down for rapper 50 Cent. Now he is taking it up a notch with his own movie production company.

The Dance features Cage as the founder of a boxing program and 50 Cent as a fighter who ends up in prison.
The rapper made the announcement about his new venture at this years Sundance Film Festival in Utah.
Wyclef clears up Foreclosure reports
Last year it was rumored that a house owned by former Fugee Wyclef Jean had gone into foreclosure.
Well the rumor was true however Wyclef, who has been doing his bit for the Presidential Campaign as well as many other entertainers, wants the world to know that he certainly isnât homeless.
The rapper has a home in New Jersey which he considers his âmain houseâ and the one in Florida was nothing but a âplay houseâ. A play house which he planned to rebuild but failed to make the $2 million mortgage repayments on and also pay the bills for the people that were actually employed to rebuild the fun house.
âFlorida was a play house that I bought with some money, crashed it all down, I was about the rebuild it. That was going through a LSC company -- that deal went bad because once the economy crashed, the bank was asking for a few millions from me to give it back versus me giving that back, I'd rather let that deal crash and move on to the next house. So you don't have to worry, the mansions are still there," he fully explained.
