Busta Arrested in the UK
They say one good deed deserves another, well looks like that saying doesnât apply to Busta Rhymes.
Busta born Trevor Smith was scheduled to perform at a charity concert tonight at the Royal Albert Hall as the headlining act.
Busta was to play to a crowd of 5,000 volunteers who had each worked for four hours in their communities for Orange Rock Corps, an organization developed by CEO Stephen Greene and video director Chris Robinson.
However arriving into London yesterday morning at City Airport, Bust was detained by immigration officials due to unresolved convictions back in New York.
Unsure as to if Busta will be able to perform, Orange Rock Corps have called on Ludacris to fly to the UK capital just incase Busta is not allowed to stay in the country.
Rhymes, famed for tracks such as Pass the Courvoisier and Touch It is at this time still in the country awaiting a decision from immigration after his legal team prevented him from having to leave the country for Amsterdam.
Organizer of the concert Stephen Greene said "He has the necessary work-permit and has been in the country twice already this year, so we're a little puzzled that a question mark is now being placed over his ability to enter the country to perform to volunteers."
Sway signed to Akonâs label
R&B singer Akon has signed his first British act to his label Kon Live in the way of Sway.
The London rapper who won the MOBO award for the best Hip-Hop Act in 2005 will be releasing his debut on the label, The Signature LP, in October and the album will feature a collaboration between the rapper and his new label boss.
Sway is currently giving fans the opportunity to download a free mixtape in preparation for the release of his album by visiting his website.
This will be his second project after his debut album This is My Demo was released in 2005 to great reviews.
Ludacris house goes up in smoke
