Mary J Blige to hit road again
After her recent success out on the road with Jay Z, it looks like Mary J Blige has the touring bug again.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is heading out on the road to promote her current platinum selling album Growing Pains. Joining her on the tour will be Interscope artist Robin Thicke.

50 meets with officials
After the internet ran rampant with news that rapper 50 Cent was holding up the investigation into why his Long Island home was burned to the ground in May, turns out that 50, born Curtis Jackson had already met with fire marshals to answer their questions about the blaze.
In the house when the fire broke out were the rappers estranged girlfriend and his ten year old son Marquise. Shaniqua Tompkins, mother of marquise has made various allegations that 50 Cent was in fact the mastermind behind the fire as the two have been embroiled in a bitter battle in family court as she looks for more money from him to support their child.
It is law that marshals meet with the owner of the property when carrying out their investigation into why the fire broke out. At the time of the fire, 50 Cent was on location in Louisiana shooting his new movie.
Gwen Stefani has another boy
Rock artist Gwen Stefani and Bush front man Gavin Rosedale has given birth to another boy yesterday in California. This is the second son for the couple who got together in 2000. The baby who is named Zuma Nesta Rock Rosedale weighed in at eight and a half pounds.
Gwen Stefani has recorded various tracks with Hip-Hop heavy weights Eve and Dr. Dre and was up until this week hard at work with her No Doubt family writing new material for their next album.
MTV VMA Awards Update
With Lil Wayne and Mariah Carey already scheduled to perform at this years VMA Award show in LA another two celebrities have been added to the line up, again both with cameras always pointed their way.
This week it was announced that Rihanna and TI will also hit the stage in Hollywood on September 7th. The show is to be hosted by British funny man Russell Brand.
This could be one of the last big performances for rapper TI who is said to start his one year prison sentence in March after being caught buying guns and silencers from undercover federal officials in October 2007.
Melanie Cornish
