Fifty's Baby Momma gets booted

The mother of rapper 50 Cent's son has been given until the end of the school year to vacate the property that 50 Cent actually owns. The house in which Shaniqua Tompkins lives with her current boyfriend and her son Marquis, the rappers son is located on Long Island in New York. A judge ruled that as the house does actually belong to the multi platinum selling artist, Tompkins has no right to live there. 50 Cent recently won a dispute over child support with Tompkins in which courts stipulated he should pay $6700 a month as opposed to the $25,000 he was actually seeking.

Lil Jon the Vintner

Rapper Lil Jon might be more known for his outlandish persona than he is for his appreciation of the finer things in life, but his new endeavor will put him on the tables of fine dining rooms and restaurants. The rapper has launched his own wine company called Little Jonathan Winery in association with Alison Crowe based out in California.

The wine has so far been a success for the rapper who had never really thought too much about diversifying into wines.

Grammy's go Hip-Hop
the world renowned Grammy Awards have opted to send some of Hip-Hop's biggest names out on tour as the awards celebrate their 50th birthday.

Artists such as Missy Elliot and Busta Rhymes will visit cities such as New York, Dallas, Miami and Chicago and perform.

In a recent statement the Chief Marketing Officer of the Grammy Awards had this to say about linking with Hip-Hop icons,"With this fantastic program, not only does The Recording Academy provide music fans an opportunity to help celebrate our 50th Anniversary, it also pays tribute to some of the artists that have played an important role in the Grammy Awards' meaningful history and gives rising stars a chance to be a part of that legacy."

Jay Z hits the jackpot

Rapper and former President of Def Jam Recordings Jay Z has inked a deal with Live Nation for an estimated $150 million. The venture which will be known as Roc Nation will take place over ten years and will finance the Brooklyn rappers record label and any subsidiary companies he is involved with. It is also expected that he will record three albums under the terms of the contract.

A major part of the concept behind the alliance is tours which Live Nation is notorious for working. The rappers recent tour with Mary J Blige is also part of this mammoth deal.
