In today's Daily Rap Kanye West's mother suffered heart attack, Cliffy Barz speaks out, Snoop Dog names who he would like to work with and Lupe Fiasco is top of the Hip Hop chart.Kanyes Mother suffered Heart AttackCoroners reports have unveiled that Dr Donde West, the late Mother of Kanye West, died of a heart attack. Dr West died suddenly on Novemeber 10th at her home in LA. The heart attack is said to have been caused due to numerous cosmetic surgeries West had had earlier that weekend.The surgeon who performed the operations Dr Jan Adams has come under serious scrutiny having performed the procedured on Dr West, knowing that she had been advised by numerous other Drs in the field of cosmetic surgery. Film maker speaks outThe videographer who posted the recent clip of a females saying she had shared intimate moments with female rapper Remy Ma has spoke out against allegations made about him and the footage posted to youtube in December.

"I didn't do this to undermine Remy's name or her character" said Cliffy Barz who is the brain behind the Web TV show Harlem Streets. The female in the video he stated had numerous pictures of herself and Remy Ma together. The rapper who is currently out on bail after allegedly shooting her friend Makeda Barnes Joseph in the summer of last year has denied any such claims of her being a lesbian.

Snoop wants to bring in the big dogs

Rapper Snoop Dogg who is working on his new album Ego Trippin has declared his wish list of who he would like to work with on the up and coming project. The album which is expected to be released in Summer is expected to show of the rappers ability to fuse Hip-Hop with all genres of music.

"I am on some rock shit" Snoop explained in a recent interview and who better to request the pleasure of but Mick Jagger, Bono and Madonna to work with him on his next album. It has yet to be confirmed if any of the icons will actually take Snoop up on his offer.

Record Sales

Lupe Fiasco stays on top of the Hip-hop chart this week for the third time. His sophomore album The Cool has racked up 229,000 sales. Other movers and shakers in the Hip-hop chart include Jay Z who has yet to go platinum with American Gangster but has sold 911,000 copies.

Kanye West has sold 1,910,000 copies of his Graduation album whereas his September 11th rival 50 Cent has moved 1,230,000 of his Curtis project. But struggling with only 132,200 albums soldare The Wu Tang Clan whose highly anticipated Eight Diagrams has failed to garner the attention that was hoped.
