Sydney, Perth and Melbourne are all places that will see the G.O.A.T perform songs from his 20 year career.This will be the rappers first official tour to Australia where he has a huge fan base.Jay Z throws concert in Vegas over New Years.Shawn Carter will be keeping busier than ever over the New Years holiday this year. The rapper/CEO will be extending his American Gangster Tour to Las Vegas on Dec 29th where he will perform at the Palms Casino. He will also be opening his third 40/40 sports bar in Vegas on Dec 30th which will become part of the Venetian and Sands Casino Complex. The other two are in New York City and New Jersey, with the next being scheduled for Japan.
In other Jay Z news this week, it was confirmed that the rapper has also invested in a Hotel company which is called J Hotels and is currently planning to build on land purchased in the Chelsea district of NYC.
Eminem's Mom writes tell all book
Detroit rapper Eminem's Mother Debbie Nelson has had her book released My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem in the UK. The book which talks about the rapper and his battle with depression goes on sale in the US in the New Year. Published by John Blake publishing the story is "her open letter to Eminem, a loving reminder of how they once were, and an attempt to set the record straight and refute allegations of her own drug abuse and tell the real story behind some of her son's most famous lyrics."
The mother and son have been embroiled in numerous disputes during his tenure in the spotlight and she had at one time filed a 7 million dollar law suit against him for defamation of her character.
Plies Manager caught with 80 pounds of cocaine
The newest addition to the Miami Hip-Hop scene Plies may have to start looking for new management after his manager was arrested on Thursday having been caught in possession of 80 pounds of cocaine. David Lee Gay Jr.and an associate had been caught trying to sell the substance to an undercover police officer.
Authorities arrested Gay on several federal and state charges, including possession of cocaine, racketeering, armed trafficking and several conspiracy charges.
