In Friday's daily rap round-up Darrin 'Dee'Dean could face twenty years in jail, Kanye West's new album leaked on to the internet, Nas cancels Canada show adn Lil Wayne sued $1 million. Ruff Ryders Leader faces 20 yearsDarrin 'Dee' Dean was indicted on gun and drug charges which could see the Ruff Ryders CEO behind bars for up to 20 years if found guilty. Dean was arrested earlier this year after being stopped for a faulty tail light on his SUV. When police inspected the vehicle they found 1.5 kgs of cocaine and weapons. He was released on bail from a New Jersey court . Bail was set at $342,500. Ruff Ryders, a family ran organization, launched the careers of names like DMX, Swizz Beats and Eve. A date has yet to be determined for the trial. Nas concert a no go in Canada New York rapper Nas has had a show canceled on him because the venue where the show was to be held, doesn't condone rap music. The concert which was to be held in the Ottawa Congress Center was part of an election drive for Canadian students. But on discovering the students from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa had invited Nas to perform, the Center withdrew their invitation for them to host their show at the venue. There have been mixed reports as to why the concert can't be held at the venue, but it has been stated that Nas's lyrics are not something the center would promote. Kanye springs a leak

Kanye West who is building up to the release of his third album Graduation has been exposed to the Internet leak like many artists have in recent years. Graduation which features Coldplay. Lil Wayne, T Pain and DJ Premier was leaked to the Internet yesterday but file downloading sites had the link deleted within hours. It is hard to know how many downloads were made of Graduation. But as September 11th draws closer the competition between 50 Cent who also releases his third album on the same day and West is getting 'stronger' every day.

Rapper Lil Wayne sued for $1 million

Cash Money rapper Lil Wayne has been sued by a concert goer for negligent behaviour. The female who was aged 17 at the time of the concert at Morgan State University in Maryland claims she was trampled and knocked unconscious after the rapper and members of his entourage threw money from the stage during a concert. The suit filed by Tyrique Layne names Universal Records Inc, Cash Money Inc, Lil Wayne and Young Money Touring. Layne says since the incident she suffers extreme headaches and memory loss.
