Following their huge dates at Manchester Arena over the weekend, The Script are back with the new music video for their latest single 'Man On A Wire', filmed in Cape Town, South Africa and directed by Frank Borin.
Philippe Petit inspired the film through a documentary on his tightrope walking, and so the band got up high and chose to perform the track from 2 inch wires, with Danny O'Donoghue singing whilst wedged between two of the tallest buildings the city could offer. Guitarist Mark Sheehan meanwhile stands suspended from the side, with drummer Glen Power on the very edge of the high rise block.
'Man On A Wire' is the third cut to be taken from smash hit number one album 'No Sound Without Silence', and follows the success of singles 'No Good In Goodbye' and 'Superheroes' - two of the UK's most-played radio tracks of last year.
Later this week will see the Irish trio hit London's O2 Arena for two sold-out shows, whilst they've also been confirmed to headline Dublin's Croke Park, making them only the third Irish act in history to do so, following on from U2 and Westlife. They've revealed that Pharrell Williams will support them on this date, leading to all 65,000 tickets for the gig selling out in a single day.
