Lenny Kravitz is back with a brand new music video for his track 'Sex'. It's the third tune to be lifted from his tenth studio album 'Strut', following previous releases 'The Chamber' and 'New York City'.
Speaking about his new video, Kravitz explained: "I love the Fellini-esque vibe of the video. When I heard the concept, I knew that Dikayl was out of his mind; and that was the attraction."
Video director Dikayl Rimmasch who worked on the piece added: "I couldn't think of anything more surreal. It made me laugh. Lenny went for it. The shoot was chaotic. The day after I walked to the beach with a hangover, laid in the sand and thought - 'what have I done?'"
Kravitz has enjoyed a 20-year musical career, revelling in influences from the 60s and 70s soul, rock and funk genres. A timeless catalogue has been collated and showcase his talents as a writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. He also played a major role in the first two movies in The Hunger Games franchise.
