Roc Nation's Alexa Goddard is back with a brand new, mesmerising single and music video scheduled for release at the end of August.
Co-written with Kirby Lauryen - responsible for tunes including Rihanna, Kanye and Paul McCartney's 'FourFiveSeconds' as well as Ariana Grande's 'Break Your Heart Right Back' and Beyonce's 'Die For You' - the song manages to showcase a new side of Alexa and her sensational vocals, with a raw and stripped back edge before a twisted chorus with a breakbeat drop, allowing it the ability to go on and become a summer smash.
Spending the year working on her debut album, Alexa is currently perfecting her material crafted with some of the best songwriters in the industry including Ester Dean, Stargate, Chris Brown and DJ Mustard.
This year alone has seen her gain over eight million views across all social media, in addition to the near 50 million she'd already amassed on her YouTube channel.
A recent cover of Sam Smith's 'Lay Me Down' saw her gain praise from the Grammy winner himself, and her fan following continues to grow with every step she takes.
Production duo Tough Love and UK rapper Yungen have stepped in to give 'We Broke The Sky' a pair of huge remixes, adding their own touches to the stunning track.
