YouTube is one of the most promising websites for young aspiring talent and one of the best places to find new music, so we've decided to take a look at three female talents who are using the video sharing service to propel themselves into the spotlight and gaze of the music industry.

Alice Olivia

Alice Olivia is a 25-year-old singer/songwriter from Cambridge who currently resides in London. Taking over 15 million views on YouTube, Alice secured a strong following which launched her career and went to see her perform at this year's Isle of Wight Festival.

Continuously auditioning for music colleges at the beginning of her career, she suffered many knockbacks and so turned to YouTube, where a cover of Rihanna's 'Diamonds' scored over 50,000 views overnight. Now, she's signed with London-based label Creating Monsters and is working on her debut single, with an EP also due out in the Autumn.

Hannah Trigwell

At 24-years-old, Hannah is a self-taught British singer/songwriter from Leeds who has garnered an impressive 70 million views and counting. Her debut single went straight in at number one in Vietnam despite the star never stepping foot in Asia, and she took recently performed at the Isle of Wight Festival, as well as the Summer in the City Festival in London.

Hannah first began her career busking in the streets of Leeds before deciding she would take on the world of YouTube, eventually leading to the release of her first EP in 2010. Debut single 'Headrush' came in 2011 making it to number 1 in Vietnam, and since then Hannah has toured the UK and Europe alongside big names including Lawson, Jake Bugg and Boyce Avenue.

Everyll

Nigerian-born British female rapper Everyll has often been compared to Nicki Minaj. She's racked up 2.9 million hits on YouTube for her cover of Rihanna's 'Monster' alone, and has recently supported Foxes on tour, also playing alongside Professor Green.
