After huge success in their native Canada, guitar pop band Hedley are to be making waves on UK shores in the very near future, hoping to build on their multi-platinum overseas status.
Debut single 'Anything' will be released in the UK on June 2 following by their album 'Wild Life' on June 23, with the band playing a show at the 100 Club in London on May 28.
Infectious, memorable and exciting, sing-a-long single 'Anything' has the potential to become something incredible, and is supported by a tongue-in-cheek music video poking fun at the likes of Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke with nods to both these artists and more.
The group actually formed back in 2005, made up of frontman Jacob Hoggard, guitarist Dave Rosin, drummer Chris Crippin and bassist Tommy Mac, releasing four double-platinum albums in Canada to this day.
New album 'Wild Life' is already platinum in their home country, with 'Anything' being their fastest selling single to date there.
If it's not their talent that got them to where they are today, it's their charm and cheeky sense of humour, bringing a sense of realism to the down to earth group who seem to want to just have fun and make music.
Hedley are a name to remember, as we predict they'll be storming the charts everywhere before long.
