Lady Gaga is further immersing herself into the world of art as well as pop with a brand new video, released last night.
'An ARTPOP Film Starring LADY GAGA' is two and a half minutes long, directed by Inez & Vinoodh, and features some of the outfits and looks she's been sporting this era.
The intro hears Gaga say: "This album is a celebration. My pain exploding in electronic music. It's heavy but after I listen to it, I feel happy again - I feel lighter."
Her title track 'ARTPOP' then fades in against a montage of her looking dishevelled, naked, emotional and covered in dirt. Is Gaga here trying to make a further statement about the treatment of herself and other popstars in the music industry today following her tweets:
I put so much love into my music, into my shows, I make it all for you. I'll never understand the overflow of hate sent my way.

Or maybe thats what entertainment is now. It's more fun to point & laugh than appreciate the artist. I'll keep rehearsing my steps #showbiz

While the clip may be confusing to some, it's certainly impressed fans of the star who have been tweeting the star praise and asking her to release more similar mini-films in coming weeks.
Lady Gaga is soon to return to ABC for 'A Thanksgiving Special', and will this time be joined by The Muppets in 'Lady Gaga & The Muppets Holiday Spectacular'.
Her latest album ARTPOP is out now, and the ARTPOP application can be downloaded for free from the iTunes store.
