Katy Perry knows exactly what it feels like to get a number one record, usually taking the slot with whatever single she puts out.
Unfortunately, her second single from Prism - Unconditionally - failed to really set the charts alight, and what was at first just a promotional single - Dark Horse (featuring Juicy J) - stole its shine.
Now it seems like the single will be re-released, this time as an official single and Prism's third release, and producer Dr Luke has even hinted that Pitbull could be featuring on a remixed version of the tune, (which hopefully means the removal of Juicy J).
She's managed to jump her way to number two on the American iTunes charts, but Timber is still reigning supreme, so the remix could give the song the push it needs to take first place.
That, a Grammys performance where she'll hopefully give the song an extra pair of wings, and the hopeful release of a music video will solidify Katy Perry as one of the most impressive pop stars of the present day.
