Today, Jae Franklin is back with the music video for her brand new single 'Weary', and here at Female First we can exclusively reveal the visuals for the track, for your eyes only!

Painting a picture of "times inspired by recent global and social issues that have fuelled worldwide protests and demonstrations", Jae isn't just a singer that sings for the sake of it, but one that instead wants to provoke conversation and conjure up interest in important matters.

The track is a follow-up to her last single 'Higher', but this time takes listeners on a different journey completely with gorgeous lyrics written and produced by Kwame Busia.

Back in her high school days, Jae and her sister were in a girl group called Girls Tyme with former classmate Beyoncé Knowles and Kelly Rowland before the day Destiny's Child was born.

Eventually moving to Dubai after being born and raised in Houston, Texas, Jae's now honed in on her talent and sharpened her skills, getting noticed by the public eye with media attention across the globe.

"I would like to use my music as a platform for change and become a catalyst for change to heal the world and make a difference," the artist says. She's already well on her way to doing so.

'Weary' is officially released on March 26.
