Tom Povey is now better known by his stage name of Intensi-T, and has already racked up a legion of fans including Pixie Lott, Ed Sheeran, Nicola Roberts and Wiley.
At the age of 11, he taught himself to play a host of instruments - drums, piano and guitar - and honed his beatboxing skills while busking in both Norwich and London during his early teens.
Laws got more intense surrounding the rights and wrongs of busking, and so Intensi-T had to change his plan of action.
Promoters suddenly became inundated with requests from this young aspiring artist, who just hoped he could get booked to perform at a few events.
Persistence paid off, and eventually he was booked for Latitude Festival as well as securing multiple slots on the open mic and London club circuit.
One night, Megaman of So Solid Crew fame spotted Intensi-T and was blown away by the skill displayed. He instantly jumped at the chance to manage this rising star alongside ASM Talent.
A deal soon followed with London Records, and a loud buzz was heard from many because of his live shows.
His confidence increased tenfold, and he got in the studio learning that technique in that environment was different.
Throughout 2013, he finished his songs to put on his 2014 debut album, which is co-produced by Ollie Green.
First single 'My Drums' is to be released at the end of this month on April 27, and is expected to take the industry by storm.
