A recent project for Day was being commissioned for the recent film MERU in which she wrote and performed the song 'The Light That Never Fails'. The film follows the story of three climbers who attempt the feat of climbing Mount Meru exposing their grapples with obsession and loss. Meru is a treacherous mountain in the Himalayas and the film shows the incredible challenges in endeavouring to reach the summit.
