Rihanna is the Queen of a hit single. She's had a massive total of 13 number ones on the Billboard Hot 100 alone, and with her releases usually comes an intricate and exciting music video that showcases her not just as a singer, but an incomparable performer.

Despite that huge success, there are scores of songs throughout her lengthy discography that we believe deserved a music video.

'Breakin Dishes'

From her 2007 album 'Good Girl Gone Bad', 'Breakin Dishes' has proved to be one of the most popular songs when Rih's out on the road, surely down to the sass and attitude displayed throughout the track. It could have made for an intense and aggressive video, with our leading lady taking her revenge on an unsuspecting and unfaithful partner. That, and it would have been a hell of a lot of fun to film.

'Skin'

Highly sexual, 'Skin' is the song every fan who went to see Rihanna on her 'Loud' tour hoped she'd pull them on the stage for. Known for being particularly raunchy, Rihanna could have shut down any haters with a video showcasing her great assets. Or she could have gone down the satirical route, luring in watchers by promising a clip huge on pushing sex, and delivered something altogether different. Both could have been the 'Wrecking Ball' of 2008. Neither happened.

'Fire Bomb'

Grungy and emotional, this song's lifted from one of her more recent albums 'Rated R', and if that had been driven into a short film piece it could have made for something special. It's one tune from Rihanna that could have been turned into a huge story. I'm a big fan of long music videos that have long moments of silence or simple storytelling without the music - like Lady Gaga's 'Marry The Night' and Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' - and this is something that could and should have been done here.

'Love Without Tragedy / Mother Mary'

Evolving from a typical love song to a full-blown monologue and confession, this is the song from 'Unapologetic' that had all of the critics talking. Confessions are made which have been linked to the attack of Chris Brown and this could be the reason no music video was ever made. Did our favourite Barbadian songstress want to revisit and rehash that part of her life for the sake of a music video?

'Jump' OR 'Lost In Paradise'

Another from 'Unapologetic', 'Jump' is the perfect club-banger and would likely have come with the generic video to boot. Because of this, a case could be made for 'Lost In Paradise', which may be able to switch things up a bit, perhaps being filmed on one of Rih's exotic vacations with her friends? It could have provided a small but welcome glimpse into the life of a superstar.
