In her words: "'Someone To Break My Heart' is a song that was inspired by my friend AJ Masters who said "sometimes songwriters need someone to break their heart to write a decent song". It made me think about the concept that if you never take a chance or risk getting your heart broken, how are you going to find the right person? Sometimes, it's only when you're left alone that you gain an appreciation for what love is. It's a fun, country-infused song that even makes reference to my favourite novel, The Notebook, and I hope it makes you smile."
