Holding its inaugural annual party last night on April 30, Battersea Power Station played host to Sir Elton John who delivered an intense and powerful performance to an audience of thousands, including celebrities and super fans.
Rolling back the years, classics including 'The Greatest Discovery' and 'Your Song' were performed alongside select tracks from last year's critically acclaimed album 'The Diving Board'.
Taking place inside the landmark, the gig was the focal point of the party and Tom Odell also took to the stage to showcase some of his own talent including songs from her debut number one record 'Long Way Down'.
Jeremy Renner attended the event with fellow Avengers star Chris Evans, whilst Grace Jones, Kit Harington, Tom Daley, Dustin Lance Black, Jack Whitehall and Luke Evans all also attended along with many other big names.
Further entertainment at the venue came from a 4D light show which was projected onto the Power Station chronicling the history of the Station and what will come from its future.
Chief Executive Officer of BPSDC Rob Tincknell said: "Thank you to Sir Elton John for a stunning show at our first party, held to celebrate the remarkable heritage of the site and recognise the efforts of so many people who are helping to create a new vibrant community at Battersea Power Station. The power is definitely back on at Battersea."
