BBC Children In Need have today announced that Ellie Goulding will release 'How Long Will I Love You' as the official track for the 2013 appeal.
An exclusive television performance of the single will be broadcast on BBC One on Friday November 15 at 7.30pm, and the single itself can be pre-ordered from today with a release date set for November 10.
Speaking of her involvement, she said: “I’ve grown up watching BBC Children in Need so it’s fantastic that I’m doing this year’s single! It is an emotional song, but in a really positive way, and I’ve been completely blown away with the positive reaction it’s had already.”
Goulding joins the likes of David Bowie, Elton John and Tom Jones who have all sung in aid of the charity in years past.
Children In Need works to help disadvantaged children and young people in and throughout the UK, and the live appeal show will air November 15 on BBC One.
