Lil Wayne and Charlie Puth may not be a duo you expected to collaborate, but that's exactly what the pair have done on infectious new track 'Nothing But Trouble' from the 808 soundtrack, with the music video for the song released today exclusively through Apple Music.
Exploring the notion of people putting up a fake persona through their social media, two-time MTV VMA 2015 nominee Puth laments his personal relationship woes whilst trading verses with hip-hop icon Lil Wayne.
'Nothing But Trouble' is the first single cut from Atlantic Records' hugely anticipated soundtrack for landmark documentary 808, which documents the incredible story of the influential Roland TR-808 drum machine.
Due to arrive in full later this year, the LP gathers a collection of era-spanning tracks born of and inspired by the 808, and will be accompanied by a new remix package featuring interpretations by some of today's most forward-thinking producers.
