AsheaFemaleFirst can today exclusively premiere exciting new artist Ashea's track 'Watcha Thinkin', remixed by Steve Smart and WestFunk.
Perfect for the summer, it's a club banger that the rising star not only performed but wrote and produced.
“I´ve always had music playing around me, I grew up in big Victorian house and part of it was converted into dance studios which my nan, mum and aunty owned... so pretty much every night of the week when I came home from school there would be dance, drama and singing classes going on downstairs which I would take part in and help out with the younger kids!“ she says.
All of her determination and hard work paid off, earning her a full scholarship at the renowned Laine Theatre Art Schools in London, where she was picked for the leading role for Disney Tokyo, which included her stepping into the shoes of Cinderella, Ariel and Cruella de Vil.
Sessions followed and RAab Stevenson - Rihanna and Justin Timberlake's vocal coach - helped her hone in on her sound before she was offered advice by Kelly Rowland in the studio.
Returning to Europe, Ashea learned some more tricks of the trade including music production, and now she's ready to take on the world with her unique sound.
An Ibiza-shot music video for the remix is expected to drop next week on Ashea's VEVO channel.
