Coming into the world of music as the half sister to Whitney Houston would be a daunting challenge for anyone, but this powerfully gospel-driven singer has exactly what it takes to turn heads and has already managed to rally up a score of fans following her tour of the UK in 2012.
Performing at Manchester Pride as well as a host of nightclubs and a Prince's Trust event, Alexis is slowly building her own reputation and standing on her own two feet.
The lead single from the EP is the title track 'Light', and is to be released on May 26, with the EP hot on its heels scheduled for release July 7.
