Rihanna has kept a very dignified silence since her assault at the hand of ex boyfriend Chris Brown, but yesterday she finally opened up on Good Morning America - and it made me do a little cry.
The popstar, who is clearly still torn up over what happened to her, gave a very frank interview with Diane Sawyer, in which she says she was “embarrassed” to have ever “fallen in love with “a person like that” and infers that this incident may have happened before.
It seems that Rihanna was almost reluctant to leave Chris until she realised that other girls in her situation might think it’s okay to “go back” and end up being killed, and we hope her fans watch this and see just how this has affected Rihanna.
For a star who we don’t know much about, this extremely open interview see’s the star at her most vulnerable but she can most definitely hold her head up with pride now.
