The Overtones announce the release of their new single ‘Say What I Feel’. An original song that features on the Platinum Edition of their hit album ‘Good Ol’ Fashioned Love’, ‘Say What I Feel’ is a perfect example of why this band is one of Britain’s greatest success stories of 2011.
Once again The Overtones have created a song that reflects their pop sensibility and broad contemporary appeal, blending the traditional sound of great vocal harmony groups, such as The Temptations, The Drifters and The Five Satins, with the best of present-day pop.
The single is accompanied by a video that was filmed in Cape Town during the band’s recent tour of South Africa.
In the run up to the release the five-piece will be performing on a range of television shows including XTra Factor, BBC Breakfast, Daybreak, This Morning and Alan Titchmarsh.
In 2011 Mark Franks, Mike Crawshaw, Darren Everest, Timmy Matley and Lachie Chapman have seen their debut album ‘Good Ol’ Fashioned Love’ sell more than 400,000 copies with a peak chart position of number 4.
Their UK tours sold out and received acclaim from press and fans alike with the band dazzling audiences with their flawless performance, winning charm and impeccable style.
The Overtones have announced a twenty eight date tour of Ireland and Britain in November and December 2012.
Starting in Timmy’s home town of Cork on 9th & 10th November, and stopping off in Dublin & Belfast before coming to the mainland, the tour will cover the length and breadth of the country from Aberdeen to Portsmouth and Scunthorpe to Cardiff before concluding in Plymouth on December 20th.
Having played to a full-house at the London Palladium on their recent tour, The Overtones will return to the capital for a night at the Hammersmith Apollo.
The five singers, who have learned their craft through years of performing together, stage a pitch perfect show that is, arguably, the most entertaining and enjoyable concert of the year.
