Well as some of you may know, I reviewed this single earlier this week, and ever since I got it on my iTunes I’ve listened to it about three times a day.
I’ve got to be honest, it’s not the type of music I usually listen to, and it was going to be that Twin Atlantic bagged themselves the SOTW honour today= because I felt guilty giving Imogen Heap two lots of attention in just one week, but what the hell!
The reason being, I am able to review a song that I wouldn’t normally listen to, but it’s very rare that even if I find it good I will give it the same amount of play on my ‘personal’ music play list as it gets on my work one, but this really has.
Taken from her much anticipated new solo album Ellipse, which is released on August 24, First Train Home sounds rather like The Donnas’ I Love You Always Forever - which luckily for Imogen - is one of my favourite songs of all time!
I know I’m probably about a million years behind everyone else who has been banging on abut how talented Imogen Heap is for the past couple of years, so for that I’m sorry.. So I might as well shut up now and start making up for lost time!
