We do love Alesha Dixon here at FemaleFirst HQ; she’s our feisty dancing queen, a musical genius and one of the most beautiful girls in town.
Granted Breathe Slow might be a little different to her previous offerings, in particular the catchy The Boy Does Nothing but we think it is still a musical dig ex husband MC Harvey, who swanned off with Javine just months after their wedding. Ouch!
Understandably, we took the verse; “Somebody better hold me back, You're lucky I know how to act, (So lucky ain't gunna attack), I'm being calm and cool, but believe me you, it's taking everything to just, breathe breathe breathe …†as her way of coping with her ex-friends actions; after all, classy ladies don’t brawl in the street.
As the second song to emerge from her latest album The Alesha Show, we are over the moon that Alisha left her MC-ing days behind her - although we were partial to a bit of Mis-Teeq back in the day - and we are 100% sure that Alesha is going to be the star of 2009.
And that slimy ex? Pah, she’ll have men falling at her feet; including the much sought after, Mr Chris Moyles!
