At the age of 17 Tasha Kenny from Essex is already working with established artists such as Juelz Santana (summer no.1 hit Run It with Chris Brown), Young Spray who has had hits with UK artists such as Chipmunk and Giggs.
With remixes for “Oh! What You Did” done by producers such as Apple, known for his summertime smash 'Mr Bean, Aftersox, producer of 'Breakdown' and Crazy Cousinz, the punchy and pop, electro/funk dance track “Oh! What You Did”' is a marriage of soulful worthiness and pop sensitivity. Presented by DJsDEN at IBBout Recordings since late 2009 she has been developed into an artist who's sound brings together many influences to be considered new age pop. The single contains a combination of styles without losing the essence of what makes contemporary dance, electro, funk, soul and all the other influences of mainstream pop and dance so popular.
Behind the beat is well regarded producer Dial Tone who has produced and co-produced some tracks with the likes of Juelz Santana, Lil Wayne, Chipmunk, Aggro, Fumin, Scorcher, Sway and many other worldwide artists and performers. Tasha Kenny is also working with Jerome from I Logic Studio who mixes and produces for artists like Tinchy Stryder, Ghetto, Wiley, and other UK emcees/rappers of the UK urban scene.
Tasha Kenny's has been developed by the right players, like Chris Gehringer of Sterling Sounds who handled the mastering in the US of “Oh! What You Did”. This 'master of his art' dominated mastering for dance and RnB in the 80s and later defined mastering for hip hop. More recently Chris has continued to expand his discography with projects by Madonna, Rihanna, T.I., Nas, Joss Stone, Nelly Furtado and Wyclef Jean.
