Looks To Make History

Looks To Make History

Capturing the spirit-raising energy of the bands they grew up listening to and incorporating a fresh heartfelt vocal style, Looks To Make History write and play the music they love: good, honest pop-punk.

The five beautiful boys pride themselves in bringing together both old-school and new-school elements of the genre whilst all the while staying respectful to their roots.

In a short time the boys have wowed audiences locally in their hometown of Atlanta and on the road throughout the southeast, delivering solid and exciting live performances that keep the fans coming back time and time again. They have Looks To Make History, and they are working hard to live up to our name.

Originally forming in May of 2007, the band underwent a series of lineup changes before coming into its final roster the next January. Childhood friends Charlie Pinkard (20, guitar) and Pete Alexander (19, drums) started the band after meeting Joey Otero (23, lead vocals) and were later joined by Tim Leopard (21, bass), formerly of Kenotia, and Jeremy Nichols (23, guitar/bgv), formerly of The Silent Escape.

Not even a month after solidifying the final line-up, they guys were in Newburgh, New York recording their five-song self-titled EP with John Naclerio at Nada Studios. They told Femalefirst that; “Recording with John was a wonderful and inspiring experience for the band, and he has since told us that our band "continues to impress and stand out, leaving other bands in this genre eating their own faeces."

Although the boys wouldn't necessarily phrase it as he did, there is no doubt that with their cool looks, catchy sounds and unrivalled individuality, they have an incredibly strong future ahead of them, and we are extremely excited for what is to come!
