Wow the wait is finally over, and trust me when I say it’s been completely worth it! Two monumental singles and three scorching mixtapes later bashy, possibly one of the most gifted talents this island has to offer, is poised to release his full length debut album.
Catch me if you can has to be one of the most anticipated projects in recent times and who would believe that this is his debut!! Bashy has managed to achieve what many artists struggle to achieve having released several albums.
First up was the ground breaking ‘chupa chups’ and ‘your mum’ mixtapes, they cemented his place on the streets and alongside his captivating, highly energetic pirate radio sets had most of the capital asking who is this guy?!?!
This initial success simply made bashy hungry for more and he went on to produce the monumental black boys project. It was at this point that he really made his mark. A true street commentator this production brought us a socially conscious bashy, that caught the attention of the masses at large, sparking off a national debate with bashy at the helm as a dominate voice of generation y.
Kidulthood to adulthood soon followed and bashy continued to use his position, not only to entertain, but to inspire and deliver a positive message over an earth shattering maniac produced sonic boom. The track was chosen as the lead single from the highly grossing adulthood movie and soundtrack - a project on which bashy also became music supervisor on.

So now its album time! But instead of crumbling under the expectation, bashy has stepped up a gear. Catch me if you can, is an awesome body of work. A solid fifteen tracks, bashy covers every base all delivered with a clarity and poetic poise we’ve come to expect from this kensal rise tornado.
The first taster track and video [more of a short film] from the album ‘ransom’ featuring scorcher & wretch 32 notched up over 70,000 hits on you tube in under two weeks!! The second promo single featuring toddla t – ‘who wants to be a millionaire’ is set for release just before the album and highlights the pair as two true innovative british music talents.
