This weekend Hollyoaks cast donned Santa hats and their winter warmers as the village welcomed The Hollyoaks Music Show Christmas Special with McFly, Alesha Dixon & The Wanted.
We asked sexy Max George from The Wanted which Hollyoaks character he wouldn’t mind kissing under the mistletoe, “Definitely Theresa McQueen (played by Jorgie Porter), she’s lovely”. The Wanted are no strangers to the Hollyoaks set and are excited to be back. “It’s great to be back because we had a top time last time. I can’t wait to get down there; it’s in The Dog in the Pond today so I’m hoping to get a beer!”
Hollyoaks hotties gathered round with Alice Barlow and Stephanie Davis swooning over the popstars which not only included The Wanted but also McFly, Jason Derulo and Tinchy Stryder. Steph was hoping to bump into childhood favourite McFly, “When I was younger I used to stand there and watch them at a concert and think one of them was making eye contact with me out of the thousands of people there. I wouldn’t mind kissing Dougie under the mistletoe.” You’ll see Steph bobbing out to Jason Derulo and getting a bit hot under the collar as the American singer sings chart hit ‘Higher’, “I did nearly faint, I wanted to be one of his sexy backing dancers. I’m off to try and sit on his knee in Santa’s Grotto.”
Boyband McFly rocked out with new song ‘Shine a Light’ and admitted they wouldn’t mind getting cosy with old cast member Bombhead (Lee Otway). Who’s actually set to make a surprise return in the New Year…
Strictly star Alesha Dixon took time out of her hectic schedule to take on Hollyoaks hunk Rob Norbury in Pop Star vs Holly Star before performing gorgeous new song ‘Radio.’ The sexy popstar was delighted to have been asked to come along “I am very excited, I have watched the music show many times before and it’s always a good crowd so I can’t wait to perform.” She’s enjoyed herself so much she wants to come back for more! “Unfortunately I’m only performing one song but next time I’ll bring the whole band and my dancers so we can really rock out.”
Another artist already planning a Hollyoaks return is rapper Tinchy Stryder. After performing ‘Let it Rain’ we caught up with the star to talk about his crush on ex-cast member Nathalie Emmanuel who played Sasha. “If I was in Hollyoaks I’d bring her back for a Christmas special. I’d play myself, with a crush on Sasha but am never successful. Then on Christmas Day we’d kiss under the mistletoe. It would be a beautiful episode.”
