Battle Of The Bands 2009
Well, well, well boys and girls, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for… FemaleFirst’s Band Wars 2009 is now open for entries and we want YOU!
If you’re in a band, or you know someone in a band who might want to get their little mitts on a weekend at a top London Recording Studio, some promotion from Momentum PR and the chance to get your hands on some Glamour Kills merch; then look no further… because July 12 is your chance to sort it out!
So, what’s happening I hear you scream… well never fear your musical geniuses, below is everything you need to know to get involved, and get your musical career-shaped ball rolling.
Who?
Well, your band will be playing obviously… provided you make it into our hotly contested top 5, as well as our openers, The Crane Brothers and our super awesome headline band, The Imperial Vipers should also be getting things buzzing as they bring the event to a close.
Where?
The event will take place in Manchester on Sunday July 12 at the Barton Arcade on Deansgate, with an exclusive after party to be held at the exclusive, members only Circle Club… ooh.
The reason we chose the Barton Arcade (other than it looks uber-cool) is because we’re looking to work with Glamour Kills clothing and The General Store to bring a fashion element to the day… to break the bands up a little bit.
What do I do now?
Well, send me a bit of info about yourself to [email protected] as well as a shed load (or just a line or two) about what you want to achieve from this whole shizzle, and I’ll get back to you in super fast time and tell you where to send a demo CD for myself and my fellow judges (ooh) to cast our critical ears over.
