Meeting for the first time as a pup and a cub, Tod and Copper realise that they can be great friends, to the wonderful sound of Big Mama's crooning.
However, the time comes when the two - against their better judgement - are forced to go against each other as enemies.
Copper is raised as a hunting dog, and his owner is hoping to capture and kill Tod with the help of his hound, but can the bonds of friendship truly be broken and lead to such devestating consequences?
