With her brand new single 'I Love You But Shut Up' out now, Carolynne Poole is back on Female First letting all her fans new listeners know 15 things that she wants them to know about her.
- I joined my first country band when I was 14 years old.
- I left 6th form college three months before my exams to move to London and be a session singer. My parents thought I'd be back within a week but I didn't come home for eight months.
- If I wasn't a singer I'd love to be an interior designer. I love redecorating and my family usually ask my advice on redesigning rooms in their homes.
- I hate having my hair and makeup done!
- I can't lie! I'm so bad at it. The truth is ALWAYS written all over my face.
- I was a vegetarian for three years. For some reason suddenly the thought of eating meat made me want to be sick even though I've always loved it. I tried every so often to see if I could but it lasted three years right up until I had a steal salad in LA last year.
- I can't eat runny eggs!
- In high school I was a bit of a 'Goth'. I had purple hair, a very pale face, eyeliner and black Doc Martin boots with multi-coloured laces!
- I was in the Yorkshire soap Emmerdale for a short time just before The X Factor. I played a character called Talia Brice, a similar character to regular Alisha played by Natalie Anderson, who I also went to school with.
- I love dragonflies. I'll usually be wearing a piece of jewellery with one on.
- I've dislocated my shoulder three times and popped it back in myself.
- I'm a Yorkshire lass - currently living in Manchester.
- I have a huge tattoo on my back bum side and ribs. I love it but never show it off and always keep it covered.
- I'm a single girly and have been for nearly three years. It's a bit of a running joke with my friends that I'm fussy when it comes to fellas, but I get 'cringed out' easily!
- I get really bad nerves before going onstage. Nobody ever believes me because I seem so calm then onstage I'm so energetic, but I suffer really bad with them for an entire day before.
This month will see Carolynne head back to Nashville to perform at a country music festival and her single can be purchased digitally online now.
