Miel de Botton
- I do like men despite my song 'Bad Men'! I think men often become bad men as we may become bad women, when it is a turning point in a relationship. It is signalling some serious things have to be addressed or else the relationship should end to safeguard each person's well-being.
- Love, beauty and joy are the main purpose of my life - those are the values I live by.
- I have gorgeous kids, my son is 15 and my daughter is 11.
- I LOVE music. When I am on stage performing, it feels as if a light goes through me and I know I am on my chosen path.
- Though I know we are alone, I experience huge connections with other people - I consider myself a spiritual person and this spirituality has opened a huge dimension of joy and understanding in my life.
- I split my time living in both the city and countryside. I adore nature, walks in nature calm me and give me renewed energy to face the world again.
- Between us, I love dancing naked in my bedroom!
- I am addicted to 85% dark chocolate. It has the perfect balance when combined with nuts of all kinds. I always bring it to rehearsals and the band have now developed a taste for it!
- I am inspired by a real range of genres of music, but I do love having a dance to Disco!
- I love contemporary art and sculpture. It is a real passion of mine, inspired by both my parents who were ardent collectors and dragged my brother and me around every available museum! I feel honoured to be a member of the International Council of the Tate. I keep up with exhibitions around the world that interest me. I feel the same emotional intensity when I view art I love as when I am touched by music. I feel very lucky to experience this.
