This year’s brightest new rock stars, You Me At Six have landed the much coveted headline spot at this year’s Slam Dunk festival at Leeds University on Bank Holiday Sunday, May 24.
After they shot to stardom in 2008 with their incredible UK tour, the Surrey sexies were asked to return and headline the one-day festival by organizers.
It’s a great achievement for the band too, as in the past headline slots have gone predominately to US bands but with The Blackout, In Case of Fire, We Are The Ocean and The Ghost Of A Thousand performing, this look like the year of the Brit.
Other acts confirmed on the bill include Cobra Starship, We The Kings, The King Blues, Anti Flag, Sing It Loud, Hexes and Hundred Reasons. In its 4th year, Slam Dunk Festival will play host to 40 bands across 6 stages, running from 3pm until 11pm.
There will also be an aftershow running until 3am, where my sexy face can be seen shimmying around.
