A collective of dance music heroes have been confirmed for Saturday 3 July at Wireless sponsored by Barclaycard, including LCD Soundsystem, 2manydjs Live, DJ Shadow, U.N.K.L.E and The Big Pink.  With some of the biggest names, best breakthrough talent and cutting edge DJ’s set to play across three stages, the atmosphere in London’s Hyde Park is going to be electric.

Now in its sixth consecutive year, Saturday at Wireless sponsored by Barclaycard has traditionally been the dance day, meaning one thing – you can never have too many DJ’s!  Well, unless of course you quite literally have 2manydj’s Live.  As well as releasing their own albums under their ‘Soulwax’ title, the influential electro outfit from Belgium are known for their outstanding remixes, including Gossip’s ‘Standing in the Way of Control’ and LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Get Innocuous.’

Both 2manydj’s and LCD Soundsystem have played seminal sets at Wireless in previous years and now they are back, bigger and better than ever before, to co-headline the main stage.   American producer James Murphy is the man behind disco-punk electronica outfit LCD Soundsystem.  Continuously praised by the media and music fans alike, LCD Soundsystem have notched up two Grammy award nominations and have a sold out UK tour ahead of them in April and a new album in May.  This is a chance to see them live and loud, under the stars and closing the open-air main stage.

Fellow American producer, DJ Shadow has taken a break from touring during 2009, but he’s coming back to wow the crowds as headlner of the second stage.  This will also be home to a special set from his fellow Mo’Wax label mates U.N.K.L.E.  Their highly -anticipated fifth studio album ‘Where Did The Night Fall’ is released on 10 May and fans can soak up their distinctive sound in the stunning surroundings of Hyde Park this summer.

The Big Pink created the biggest buzz on the music scene last year and the recent NME Award winners for ‘Best Track’ (for single ‘Dominoes’) will make their Wireless debut on Saturday 3 July.

Dance by day, dance by night, in the sun then under the stars.  Saturday 3 July at Wireless sponsored by Barclaycard will be bursting with the biggest sounds of the summer.  Bring it on.

Also announced for the Friday of the Festival are Plan B, Daisy Dares You and Bowling For Soup.
