Fresh back from their SXSW 7 gig assault & their first gig in New York, Turbowolf continue the construction of their electronic noise temple, built above the crumbled pillars of rock music.
Godzilla guitar riffs battle broken junk-store keyboards, while huge choruses smash into unhinged freak-outs, ‘Read & Write’ continues the band’s by now trade mark ‘Concrete’ sound!
The band have already been a tip for 2009 by Rob Da Bank (Music Week) & also by Record Of The Day (16/12) , Turbowolf have just recorded their first ever Radio 1 Maida Vale Session and have just been confirmed for this summer’s Download Festival.
Consequently, the forthcoming singe ‘Read & Write’ has been pushed back until 15the June.
Whilst at SXSW, they played with Gallows, Juliet Lewis, Micachu & Danananackroyd amongst others, Turbowolf have already been confirmed for this year Brighton extravaganza, The Great Escape as well as the Bestival events.
You can also check out the band at a series of extreme sports events including Snowboarding at Milton Keynes, Nass and the legendary Boardmasters surfing event in Watergate Bay, Newquay.
